A different location from central Sukhumvit
Lancaster Bangkok is at 1777 New Phetchaburi Road in Huai Khwang. Its name is easy to recognise, but the address should be checked before treating it as a Sukhumvit Road hotel. It suits travellers comfortable using transport between the hotel and their daily destinations, and those who value the facilities enough to spend some time on site.
The setting has a small but concrete practical consequence. The hotel’s FAQ identifies convenience stores across a pedestrian bridge. September 2026 Trip.com reviewer ziggy_1004, staying in a Deluxe Twin, found that crossing inconvenient for simple purchases. Management confirmed the bridge and said staff could assist guests who had difficulty with the stairs. Anyone with reduced mobility should discuss the everyday walking route directly rather than relying only on a map distance.
Read the room names carefully
The official room guide makes the accommodation easier to compare than a generic list of luxury categories. Deluxe rooms are 40 square metres, with king or twin beds and floor-to-ceiling windows. An interconnecting arrangement combines two such rooms into 80 square metres. That is a different proposition from the 56-square-metre Family Two Bedroom, which the hotel describes for two adults and two children under twelve.
Four adults should therefore not book the latter merely because its title includes two bedrooms. A larger two-bedroom Premium Apartment is listed at 140 square metres with a king room, twin room, kitchen, dining area and two bathrooms. The distinction affects privacy, sleeping comfort and whether the group can spend time together without using a bed as a sofa.
Bathrooms also vary. The hotel’s FAQ says bathtubs are present in all room types except Executive Apartments. Its 72-square-metre Executive Suite includes a separate lounge and a Sento bath, whereas the 70-square-metre Executive Apartment trades towards kitchen and dining functions. A bath photograph should never be used to promise that feature in the apartment category where it is specifically excluded.
Facilities worth using
The hotel publishes a 20-metre swimming pool and a substantial main fitness centre, supplemented by a smaller gym available around the clock. There is also a spa and 24-hour room service. For someone mixing meetings with leisure, that gives more flexibility than a property whose recreation offering is limited to a small pool and a few machines.
The inspected Agoda images show a double-height lobby with a patterned gold ceiling, a bathroom with a freestanding tub beside a large window, and a long meeting table. They illustrate the range of spaces, but the bathtub image represents one configuration rather than every room. The meeting photograph also supports the hotel’s business character without implying that use of a meeting room is part of a normal overnight rate.
The FAQ publishes pool hours of six thirty in the morning to eight thirty in the evening. Its main gym covers 500 square metres, with the smaller fitness room providing the overnight option when the main facility is closed.

Recent guest evidence and the right fit
A September 2026 repeat guest in a Family Two Bedroom praised the friendly service and cleanliness while identifying the location as the main drawback. An August 2026 business traveller, stephenwu2, staying in a Deluxe Club King, described a long stay positively and singled out the gym, facilities and staff. Those priorities help explain why the same address can feel worthwhile to one visitor and less convenient to another.
For a family, the booking decision should begin with ages and actual occupancy, followed by the room configuration. For a longer work trip, kitchen access and the fitness facilities may be more valuable than a station-side address. Lancaster’s strengths are its choice of substantial layouts and the ability to use the hotel between outings. Its compromise is the street setting, including the stairs involved in a routine shop visit. Confirm those details and the room type before judging it simply on a star label or an attractive bathroom photograph.
