Published Duchess Hotel apartment living area with dining table and kitchen

The Duchess Hotel on Langsuan offers a compact Studio as well as one-bedroom suites with a kitchen and separate living space. It is the property formerly listed as Natural Ville, at 61 Lang Suan Road. The room category matters here: the conveniences that make a suite useful for a longer stay are not all listed for the smaller Studio.

The size difference is substantial

The official room list gives the Studio as 31 square metres, a One Bedroom Superior Suite as 52 square metres and the Deluxe Suite as 75 square metres. The Studio is described with a king bed, desk, refrigerator and kettle. It is a conventional sleeping and working space, rather than a separate apartment with a living room.

The Superior Suite adds a kitchen, dining table, sofa and living area. The bathroom description specifies a separate shower and bathtub. That creates more than a little extra room around the bed: there is somewhere separate to eat or sit, and the bathroom offers a bath as well as a shower. The published room sizes should still be tied to the category, because some booking descriptions use different figures.

The kitchen changes how the location can be used

A July 2026 Trip.com guest in a Superior Suite liked the nearby restaurants, cafés and supermarket at Velaa Sindhorn. For a suite guest, a nearby food shop complements the kitchen in a practical way. It gives the apartment layout a daily use rather than leaving it as unused floor area.

A January Deluxe Suite guest described preparing simple breakfasts with supermarket purchases and the room’s kitchenware. Another Deluxe account mentioned a washing machine. Those comments belong to the larger apartment-style categories, and should not be used to promise a washer or full cooking facilities in every Studio.

Recent reports favour the space, with some maintenance qualifications

Warisa View, staying in a Superior Suite in June, liked the clean, comfortable room and friendly staff but reported slow bathroom drainage after a shower. A July business guest also appreciated the central setting but found the room a little old. These are specific room experiences, not a claim that all bathrooms have a drainage fault.

A September Studio guest commented on ongoing renovations, while January visitors had reported a pool closure during works. The earlier pool accounts do not establish its condition or availability in October. That is a material uncertainty for anyone choosing the property mainly to swim, and a different question from whether the apartment itself offers enough space.

Langsuan is a walkable address, without a direct station bridge

The official website gives Chit Lom BTS as 700 metres away. This is the hotel’s stated proximity rather than a walking time measured for this review. Langsuan places the property among restaurants and residential developments, but the hotel is not directly connected to the BTS like some of Bangkok’s larger shopping-complex hotels.

That makes the choice fairly clear. The Duchess is more attractive when a separate living area, a kitchen and access to the surrounding Langsuan food options are important. It is less persuasive for someone whose main requirement is a newly built hotel with confirmed pool access and a station immediately downstairs.

The official Studio description lists a desk, refrigerator and kettle, while the Superior One Bedroom description specifies a kitchen and separate living area. That distinction is useful for a shorter stay too: a guest who only needs somewhere to prepare a drink may not need the larger apartment, while someone planning meals should compare the kitchen-equipped category.

The Studio can still suit a shorter visit, but it should be judged as a smaller bedroom rather than a discounted version of the full suite layout. The larger rooms are where the residence-like character becomes useful. Recent guest comments make the space and location the stronger reasons to consider it, with maintenance and renovation questions needing to remain attached to their dates.
