The Landmark Bangkok puts a conventional full-service hotel at 138 Sukhumvit Road, close to the BTS rather than down a long residential side street. Its room range is more varied than the common Premium name suggests: a Premium Room, a Corner Room and a Club category change the space or the privileges in different ways.
Thirty square metres, or a different reason to upgrade
The official Premium Room description gives 30 square metres and a marble bathroom with a rain shower. King and twin bedding are mentioned in the room description. The hotel’s design includes large windows and Thai-inspired details, while the practical equipment includes a media hub and complimentary Wi-Fi. It is a city bedroom rather than a serviced apartment with a separate kitchen.
Premium Corner Rooms are listed at 40 square metres. Premium Club Rooms return to 30 square metres but add Club benefits and a higher-floor location. This creates a useful distinction: the corner upgrade buys additional space, while the Club upgrade is about the floor and the lounge package. Neither name alone means that the bedroom has become a suite.
What the lounge adds
The hotel places its Club Lounge on the 31st floor and describes a 180-degree city outlook. It associates access with Club and Suite accommodation and lists refreshments, internet and private workspaces among the facilities. For a guest who needs somewhere separate from the bedroom to sit or work, this is a more specific benefit than an unspecified ‘executive’ label.
The suite range makes a further step. A Deluxe Suite is listed at 50 square metres, with a private bedroom adjoining a larger seating area; the Executive Suite is listed at 80 square metres. Those layouts are relevant if one person wants to rest while another remains awake. They should not be confused with the smaller Club bedroom simply because both can include lounge access.

A fitness detail that has changed in descriptions
The hotel’s main facilities page currently names Viva Jiva Fit for fitness access, alongside Viva Jiva Spa. Some other room descriptions and older guest accounts use the Fitness First name. The main point is that the hotel advertises fitness access, but the exact operator and arrangement should be read from the current hotel information, rather than assumed from an older photograph or review.
A Premium guest on Trip.com in July 2025 praised the attached gym, the location and the friendliness of staff. It is a positive account of that stay, not confirmation of a particular gym brand in 2026. The distinction is especially useful for travellers whose choice depends on exercise equipment rather than simply having a small room labelled ‘fitness centre’.
Sukhumvit convenience and a hotel with its own dining
The Landmark’s position makes the BTS connection a central part of its appeal. It is a Sukhumvit address, with the activity of the main road close by. A room inside a well-equipped hotel and a quiet neighbourhood outside are different propositions; this hotel’s strongest case is the former combined with rail access.
On the hotel side, the main facilities listing includes round-the-clock room service and several restaurants and bars. That gives the stay an indoor option beyond the room when the city is tiring. It does not establish that a particular meal is included, or that Club privileges extend to every dining venue.
The Premium Room also lists a USB media hub. It is a small practical detail for a traveller working from the room, alongside the larger questions of bed type and room area.
The Premium range is therefore best compared by what changes: floor area in a Corner Room, lounge access in a Club Room, or separated living space in a suite. The location is shared by all of them. Guests looking for an established hotel on the busy Sukhumvit corridor may find that clear choice more useful than searching for a room described only as an upgrade.
