lebua at State Tower is a suite hotel above Silom, with private balconies and a broad city or river outlook. The space is a substantial part of the appeal: the regular City View Suite is listed at 66 square metres with a separate living room. That is a different proposition from choosing the hotel solely for a photograph at its rooftop bars.

A suite with a distinct living room

The official City View description lists one king bedroom, a full bathroom and a separate living room, accommodating up to three guests. The bathroom includes a separate bath and walk-in shower, while the room equipment includes a work desk and coffee-making facilities. Its balcony faces the city. The River View version is a separate choice for someone who specifically wants the Chao Phraya in the outlook.

This split between living room and bedroom is useful for a longer stay or for two guests keeping different hours. It is not the same as adding a sofa at the end of a hotel bed. The balcony also changes where time can be spent within the suite, although its attraction will depend on the outlook and the weather during the visit.

lebua and Tower Club share a tower, not every benefit

The hotel group also sells Tower Club at lebua, described as being between the 53rd and 59th floors. The regular lebua Premium Suite listings place some categories on the 51st and 52nd floors. This is a case where the same building can produce reviews of different products, with different floors and privileges.

A Tower Club River View guest on Trip.com in September admired the view and found the suite clean and spacious, but felt the interiors were dated and the pool disappointing. That does not establish the view, lounge access or exact room condition of a regular lebua City View booking. It does reinforce the value of keeping the category attached to the guest’s comments.

The rooftop and the bedroom deserve separate judgments

The hotel is strongly associated with Sirocco and Sky Bar, but a room reservation is not an unlimited rooftop dining package. A guest in a Premium City View Suite in August liked the view from the 51st floor and the nearby food options, yet thought the rooftop drinks poor value. The suite experience and the bar bill received different verdicts from the same traveller.

Another guest described an uncomfortable interaction about taking rooftop photographs. This is one account of how access was handled, rather than a universal rule to publish as hotel policy. It is still a reminder that the bars are operating venues, not simply a free public viewing deck attached to every room.

The practical setting below the skyline

The address is State Tower on Silom Road in Bang Rak. It is not a resort directly at the water’s edge, even when a higher suite has a river view. The hotel’s official City View page lists a complimentary tuk-tuk to the BTS during specified daytime hours. That helps explain the station connection without implying a direct bridge from the hotel into a train platform.

Café Mozu breakfast is included in the official City View Suite description. An August Premium guest enjoyed much of the stay but criticised one breakfast item and noted small insects in the dining area. That is a particular visit, not proof that every meal has the same problem. Opinions about breakfast quality and choice vary even when the suite view is widely appreciated.

The clear case for lebua is the amount of room to use: a separate living area, a bath and shower, and a balcony above the city. Travellers who value those features can judge the stay independently of the rooftop’s fame. Someone paying mainly for a bar photograph has a much narrower reason to be here, and may be less satisfied with the traditional interiors or the cost of drinks.
