The Quarter Saladaeng by UHG is the current name of the former Siri Sathorn property at 27 Soi Saladaeng 1. Its room range stretches from a 20-square-metre Standard Room to multi-bedroom accommodation, so a photograph of a spacious apartment can give the wrong impression of the entry category. The quieter side-street setting also comes with a walk to the rail stations.
A Standard Room and a suite are quite different stays
The official accommodation list gives Standard Rooms as 20 square metres and Superior Rooms as 35 square metres. Junior Suites and Deluxe Twin rooms are listed at 40 square metres, while Deluxe and Premier Suites are 55 square metres. These are meaningful differences in usable space, rather than a sequence of almost identical rooms with different names.
The selection also includes Studio Executive and One Bedroom Executive suites at 60 square metres, and a Two Bedroom Executive Suite at 70 square metres. A bedroom separated from a living area is a different layout from a larger open-plan Studio. That distinction is particularly relevant when more than one person uses the room through the day.
An upgrade report does not describe the booked category
An August 2026 guest who had booked Standard accommodation described receiving a much larger room with a kitchen after an upgrade. It is a positive account, but it cannot be used to promise that a regular Standard Room includes a kitchen. The useful information is that the hotel contains different types of space under the same property name.
A One Bedroom Premier guest in August found the room clean and the overall stay comfortable. A July guest in the same broad suite range liked the room size and outlook but reported ageing fittings and equipment problems. Those experiences can coexist. They support treating room condition as something more specific than the building’s name or a favourable photograph.

The pool and gym are part of the appeal
The official facilities page lists a swimming pool and gym, together with a playground and meeting room. For a traveller who wants exercise as well as accommodation, this is a useful combination at a property with apartment-style options. The listing does not give a verified lane length or establish that every part is open at all times.
The upgraded August guest enjoyed the pool and found it substantial enough for a good swim. A July suite guest also thought the gym useful and mentioned a laundry room. The laundry observation belongs to that stay; it should not become a promise that every bedroom has its own washing machine.
The station journey is a walk, not a hotel bridge
A July Junior Suite guest described a walk to MRT and BTS stations and appreciated a shuttle operating at certain times. Other guests found the position convenient for Lumpini Park and Silom. These comments describe a workable base for exploring, without making it the same as a station-linked hotel. Shuttle times can change and are not fixed by a guest’s old account.
Breakfast reports are generally straightforward rather than elaborate. An August Standard guest liked the food and clean room but felt the restaurant staff appeared disengaged. A Junior Suite guest found the food simple with enough choice. The opinions are attached to individuals, and do not establish the same mood or menu at every service.
The presence of a playground alongside the pool and gym gives families another listed facility to consider. It does not change the difference between a compact Standard Room and the Executive suite range, but it can matter when deciding whether the property offers somewhere for children to spend time outside the bedroom.
The Quarter Saladaeng makes the clearest sense when its room category solves a real need for space, while the pool and gym add reasons to return during the day. A guest prioritising the shortest possible train connection may prefer a different location. Someone comparing it under the old Siri Sathorn name should also recognise that the current feed classifies it as four-star, not assume five-star status from the surrounding review collection.
