Exterior of Tower Club at lebua

Tower Club at lebua occupies the upper floors of State Tower, with suites and balconies looking over Bangkok or the Chao Phraya. The height is the attraction, but the room collection now includes both the established suites and the newer Signature Collection. Those are not interchangeable descriptions. Guest accounts praise the amount of space and lounge experience while also describing some older interiors, so the room category matters as much as the famous building.

City view and river view are different choices

The hotel’s official collection separates Tower Club Suite City View from Tower Club Suite River View. Booking.com places the river-view category between floors 53 and 59. That is useful context for the outlook: this is a high-rise stay above Silom, rather than a garden hotel directly beside a river pier. A river view does not mean the hotel’s entrance is on the water’s edge.

The balcony forms part of the appeal in both official descriptions and individual guest accounts. A 2025 visitor in a River View suite liked the high-floor setting and lounge but described the room as a little old. The important combination is generous space with an established interior, not necessarily the appearance of a newly built room. A view-led stay can still be very comfortable without satisfying someone looking for entirely new furnishings.

The suite name changes what is inside

The official website lists one-bedroom City View and River View suites, together with two- and three-bedroom options. Its two-bedroom description includes three private balconies. For people sharing a stay, the extra bedrooms have a practical purpose: private sleeping space while retaining somewhere to spend time together. They should not be confused with the one-bedroom suite simply because the balcony photographs look similar.

The Signature Collection City View Suite is described separately as a 66-square-metre, one-bedroom suite on the 55th floor with a living area apart from the bedroom. That clear label is useful when comparing new photographs with older guest accounts. A favourable review of a classic Tower Club suite does not prove that it had the Signature Collection’s fittings, and a complaint about an older room does not automatically describe the newer category.

Bar and lounge at Tower Club at lebua

The lounge is a reason to stay in the building

A City View suite guest travelling with family in June 2025 liked having lounge service through the day. Another River View guest praised the lounge alongside breakfast. These are individual descriptions of the experience, not a guarantee that every package has identical inclusions or that food is available at every hour. They do show why some visitors value spending more time inside the hotel instead of returning only at bedtime.

The rooftop restaurants and bars are another part of the property’s identity. Their photographs show an evening setting quite unlike a standard hotel lobby bar, but restaurant spending should not be treated as part of the room simply because both are in State Tower. One 2025 business guest in a two-bedroom suite thought the high-floor dining was expensive. That is a personal view on value, rather than a current price list.

A strong outlook, with mixed feelings about the surroundings

Guest reactions to location do not all agree. A River View visitor found the nearby area less interesting than the hotel itself, while another suite guest liked the location for exploring. This difference is understandable for a property whose strongest feature is above street level: the balcony and lounge may be the main attraction for one visitor, while another expects a neighbourhood full of places to wander.

Tower Club is therefore a specific kind of Bangkok stay. It offers high-floor suite space, a choice of city or river outlook and a hotel experience that can occupy a meaningful part of the day. The most useful comparison is between the exact suite collections and bedroom arrangements. The well-known dome and rooftop photographs identify the building; they do not tell you which interior, balcony aspect or club package you will receive.
